Up to 9 CEs are offered for these special workshops taking place all day Friday and Saturday morning, April 11 and 12.
The joint AAOM/EAOM Annual Meeting will be held April 9-12 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. The hotel is a beautiful property with wonderful amenities including a world-class golf course, a half-acre outdoor pool with 12 waterfalls, a state of the art fitness center, jogging trails and much more. There is also a white-sand beach and water sports on 21-acre Lake Windsong.
The oral mucosa can be affected by a wide range of conditions, often resulting in pain, discomfort, functional limitations, and diminished quality of life. By following key basic principles of therapy, most patients with symptomatic oral diseases can be managed safely and effectively. This presentation will provide an overview of the various pharmacological approaches to managing oral mucosal diseases, including the use of both locally and systemically delivered therapies. Monitoring for clinical response as well as side effects and toxicity will also be reviewed.
